Assumption of COVID-19 and the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to BSCAI 2023 Executive Management Conference Access by Participants:

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies have recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. Governmental restrictions may change at any time without prior notice. As such, BSCAI cannot guarantee eligibility to travel or to participate in the 2023 Executive Management Conference if restrictions change. Additionally, if 2023 Executive Management Conference attendees choose to attend the 2023 Executive Management Conference and enter onto the 2023 Executive Management Conference premises, they may be exposing themselves to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19. BSCAI and its members, officers, officials, directors, instructors, contractors, agents, employees, and any other representative (collectively “Entities”) and the event venue will seek to implement preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 consistent with the guidance and recommendations of public health agencies for slowing the transmission and exposure to COVID-19 which may include, but not be limited to, proof of vaccination, a negative COVID-19 test, health questionnaires for all 2023 Executive Management Conference, sanitation procedures, and physical distancing measures at the event venue and during the 2023 Executive Management Conference. BSCAI should not be held accountable for anyone attending the 2023 Executive Management Conference that fails to follow any government protocol being enforced.
