Get Certified

Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE): The CBSE designation is a symbol of accomplishment and is recognized with great respect by other building service contractors and customers throughout the industry. Professionals who achieve the CBSE have attained the highest, most exclusive designation in the industry.

Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM): By receiving the RBSM designation, individuals become part of an elite group of building service professionals widely recognized and respected in the industry. This designation demonstrates an individual’s commitment to the building service contractor community. 

Registered Building Supply Professional (RBSP): This individual certification is available to suppliers or service providers in the building service contractors industry and stands for a basic understanding of the BSC business, needs, pressures and goals. RBSP acts as a seal of approval a brand sales representative can earn to show customers that they have studied and achieved a level of understanding of issues impacting their customer.

Certified Site Supervisor (CSS)This certificate program is a symbol of leadership excellence in the building service contractors industry. Additional titles for a Site Supervisor include Area Manager, Project Manager, Team Lead, Site Manager, and Lead Supervisor. From managing quality control to training new employees, the CSS certificate is a highly valuable business tool to show the vast range of your day-to-day and big picture responsibilities.

Executive Leadership Academy

A program built for the current and future leaders of the building service contractor industry. The BSCAI Executive Leadership Academy is an opportunity for current and future BSC industry leaders to gain the people management, organizational leadership & business finance skills, knowledge and resources you need to grow your company and enhance your career like never before. Town Halls and Webinars

BSCAI Webinar

Minimize travel time and expenses by taking advantage of the BSCAI Webinar Series! These 60-minute live seminars offer the same high-quality, classroom-based education available at BSCAI educational events.

BSCAI Webinar sessions are a comprehensive audio/visual learning experience. Prior to the live event, attendees will be given web login information to view the presentation and a phone number to dial in and listen to the audio portion. Immediately following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive Q&A session with the presenter.

Handouts will be e-mailed to participants ahead of time and a Q&A session will conclude each webinar, making this a truly interactive experience. Additional benefits include:

How do I register for an event?

Follow the steps below or check out our video that will walk you through our registration process:

  1. Log into your BSCAI account on the BSCAI home page.
  2. If you are not redirected to the user portal, please click user portal in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. Select “Events” and then “Browse Events.”
  4. Select the event you wish to register for and click “Register.”
  5. Enter all necessary attendee information requested.
  6. After all information requested is entered you will be prompted with a credit card payment screen
  7. Once payment has been applied, your registration is complete.

 

How do I purchase a course from the BSCAI Training Academy?

Follow the steps below or check out our video that will walk you through the process:

  1. Hover over the “Education” tab on the BSCAI home page.
  2. Select “BSCAI Training Academy” under the “Education Hub” section.
  3. Once you’ve been redirected to the Training Academy portal, please create an account if you have not already and get logged in.
  4. After logging in, go to the “Catalogue” option on the right side of your screen.
  5. If you are looking to purchase a CBSE, RBSM, or RBSP exam, please go to “search by type” and select certification exam.
  6. This will filter in only the certification exams bundle that contains all necessary components of the exam (i.e. Practice Exams, Study Materials, and the actual exams themselves)
  7. Once you’ve found the course you wish to purchase, simply click the green “register” button at the top of the screen and enter your payment information.
  8. After the purchase has been processed, your exam will appear in the Dashboard section which you can access by clicking “Dashboard” on the right side of your screen.
  9. Bundle purchases are also available for the CSS course in the catalogue.
      1. If you are interested in purchasing a bundle for CBSE, RBSM, or RBSP, please email certification@bscai.org
  10. If you are unable to pass at least one of the one the exams for the certification, you can purchase the exam retake product in the Training Academy.

 

How do I become a BSCAI Committee member?

Follow the steps below or check out our video that will walk you through the process:

  1. Log into your BSCAI account on the BSCAI home page.
  2. Hover over the “Membership” tab of the website and select committee involvement.
  3. Fill out the form that appears on your screen.
  4. Form submissions are sent to the BSCAI HQ, and staff will review to determine if any of the committees you selected have availability for new members to be added.
  5. Staff will reach out if there is an open spot and will facilitate your onboarding to said committee.

 

How do I apply for the BSCAI Member Advisory Program?

Follow the steps below or check out our video that will walk you through the process:

  1. Log into your BSCAI account on the BSCAI home page.
  2. Hover over the “Education” tab of the website and select Member Advisory Program.
  3. Both the Mentor Program and the Peer Group Program have a “Learn More” hyperlink underneath their description on the page
  4. These hyperlinks will take you to a more detailed information page of each program
  5. At the bottom of this page you will find a submission form to fill out
  6. This form is sent to our Member Advisory Program coordinator who will be in touch within a few days after you’ve submitted your application
