Recertification
Maintaining Your CSSP Designation
Continuing education is essential in order to maintain professionalism in any business practice. Therefore, as a CSSP, you are required to demonstrate your continuing education efforts.
Each Certified Sanitary Supply Professional (CSSP) is required to submit a completed “Knowledge Review” examination every two years to maintain the CSSP designation. All CSSP’s must complete the examination and re-certification application and submit them along with the re-certification fee to the Certification and Registration department no later than April 1 of the re-certification year.
Lifetime Certification
All CSSP designees, upon reaching the age of 62, are designated for life. No further reporting is necessary other than notifying the Certification and Registration department in writing of meeting the age requirement.
Use of the CSSP Designation
CSSPs can use the designation with their name on company letterhead, business cards, and other appropriate advertising. Certification, however, is for individuals only. The CSSP designation may not be used to imply that any firm engaged in the manufacturing, converting, or supplying of products or services used in the building service contracting industry, or any firm whose primary business is the warehousing and distribution of products used in the building service contracting industry, is certified.
Announce Your Advantage
Maximize your designation of distinction by displaying it with pride in your office, reception area or proposals. Hand-calligraphied certificates suitable for framing or other marketing promotions are now available for $10 each. Contact BSCAI Headquarters at info@bscai.org for more information.
