Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM)

International Facility Management Association (IFMA)

ISSA – The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association
ISSA is a trade association for the cleaning industry worldwide, with a membership that includes 5,800 distributor, manufacturer, manufacturer representative, building service contractor, in-house service provider, and associated service members. ISSA offers the industry’s largest cleaning shows in conjunction with Amsterdam RAI under the brand name ISSA/INTERCLEAN®, educational products, industry standards, periodicals, and legislative and regulatory services that specifically focus on the professional cleaning industry.

Mesothelioma + Asbestos Awareness Center

Every year 3,000 are diagnosed with an aggressive, terminal cancer called mesothelioma.  The only known causes is from absestos expoure, a natural mineral that can be found in our environment.  It has been used in many products for it's heat resistant properties. National Cleaninghouse for Educational Facilities (NCEF)
Created in 1997 by the U.S. Department of Education, the National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities (NCEF) provides information on planning, designing, funding, building, improving, and maintaining safe, healthy, high performance schools.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, employers are responsible for providing a safe and healthy workplace for their employees. OSHA's role is to promote the safety and health of America's working men and women by setting and enforcing standards; providing training, outreach and education; establishing partnerships; and encouraging continual process improvement in workplace safety and health.

Pacific Association of Building Service Contractors (PABSCO)
The Pacific Association of Building Service Contractors (PABSCO) was formed in 1996 by a group of California Building Service Contractors. It was then, as is now, a very difficult time for janitorial contractors due to the high cost of insurance and janitorial supplies. The idea was that as a unit we could join together and do group purchasing that would lead to better pricing for all of the participating contractors.

United States Department of Labor
